Château Les Charmes-Godard (blanc) 2022 – Francs Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, fresh with elegance and purity, even a certain brightness. We have notes of lychee, bright vine peaches and more slightly – racy minerality or even gunflint associated with touches of zest as well as fine hints of fresh ripe grapefruit and a discreet note of fresh almond. The palate is mineral with freshness and fruit. It is balanced and has a lovely smoothness, energy, tension and accuracy with an airy side to its fatness. We have notes of pulpy and juicy peach, crushed apples and more slightly – ripe grapefruit associated with touches of small, tangy pulpy fruits as well as a hint of white flowers and a very discreet almost fresh toasted note. There is good length and nice definition, salinity and sapidity with this beautiful freshness. Congratulations!
