Château Les Charmes-Godard 2024 – Francs Côtes-de-Bordeaux

(Organic) The nose is elegant, aromatic, it offers a certain voluptuousness, a lovely grain and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of juicy/pulpy mirabelle plum and small bright yellow fruits, associated with touches of juicy yellow peach, as well as hints of ripe citrus, small yellow flowers and a discreet hint of brioche. The palate is well-built, supple, juicy, fruity and offers a beautiful minerality, brightness and juiciness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy mirabelle plum, kumquat and small notes of juicy yellow peach, combined with fine, almost pineapple-like touches, as well as hints of kumquat and a subtle hint of almost apricot-like, iodized and saline. Good length and definition. The tannins are mellow and well-built, with a fine hint of toasted almond. Beautiful roundness, unctuosity in juiciness and freshness, with lovely energy.
