The nose is elegant, racy and deep, aromatic, dense and elegant, with an elegant, crystalline darkness side. It reveals notes of violets, sage and fresh spices, associated with touches of fresh black tea and small notes of crushed strawberries, small blue fruits as well as a fine hint of dry zest, almost blood orange, blue tea and discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is well-built, fresh, supple, with energy and purity. It presents crystalline, energetic and melodious at the same time, deep and subtle, fresh, multi-layered, well-balanced with good bitters, chewy and airy side. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, violet and small notes of blue tea, associated with touches of raspberry, bright redcurrant as well as fine hints of small blue fruits and a hint of blood orange, fresh thyme and a hint of cocoa, blond tobacco and a subtle hint almost of cinnamon. Good length. A hint of roasting and chocolate in the background/persistence. The tannins are mellow, gourmand with a chewy. A tasty, sapid wine, nicely fresh, with a lovely freshness.
