The nose is silky, juicy and fruity, with gourmandise in the aromas of morello cherry, sour red cherry, blackcurrant and blueberry, a lovely freshness (wild mint, blackcurrant bud), a fine spice (licorice, a hint of nutmeg) and toasted (toasted hazelnut, coffee) side. The palate is supple, airy, juicy. It expresses the flavours of sour red cherry, blackcurrant and blueberry and morello cherry, combined with a good bitterness of wild cherry on the persistence, a hint of toasted hazelnut and licorice. The tannins are polished and fine. The persistence is sapid, with a nice acidity.
