The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and offers a fine concentration/richness as well as a very beautiful grain. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry and fleshy strawberry associated with small notes of cherry associated with touches of blackberry, violet, ripe/crushed redcurrant as well as subtle hints of graphite, toasted oak and toasted almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful gourmandize, an acid/juicy frame as well as a fine freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, fleshy cassis and more slightly blackberry associated with fine touches of fleshy strawberry, fleshy raspberry, chocolate, toasted/caramelized oak as well as fine touches of vanilla and an imperceptible hint of sugared mild tobacco. Tannins are fine and slightly tight. Good length and very beautiful persistence. Fine chews on the finish.
