The nose is elegant, beautifully racy and offers power (but full of finesse), a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as delicacy. It reveals notes of cassis, griotte and ripe red fruits associated with small touches of blackberry, small red fruits as well as hints of tonka bean, vanilla, flowers and spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers freshness, a beautiful definition, a very beautiful guideline, tension, a beautiful finesse as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griott, small red berries and more slightly wild raspberry associated with small touches of cassis, liquorice as well as hints of cornflower, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of tea (in the background). Tannins are elegant and structuring. Beautiful persistence on touches of cocoa, caramelized oak as well as a on a very discreet hint of fresh hazelnut.
