The nose is fruity, fine, nicely powerful (precisely well-balanced). It reveals notes of Boysenberry and cassis associated with slight hints of red fruit, pepper, discreet woody hints as well as a hint of coffee, spices and a nice hint of licorice. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, suave, round and offers a nice freshness, a nice mineral frame, a good volume, tension and a nice fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry and fleshy raspberry associated with fine notes of strawberry, cherry as well as hints of toasted oak and a discreet hint of mocha. Tannins are fine, elegant, structuring and slightly firm. Good length. There is a slight hint of dark chocolate and a very discreet hint of flowers on the persistence.
