The nose is a bit more powerful and more discreet than the 2012. It is elegant, harmonious and captivating/”charming”. The nose reveals notes of ripe fruit associated with a few notes of flowers, chocolate and spices. The palate is gourmand, fresh, dense, powerful, fat, smooth, structured and offers a beautiful texture (good weight). In the mouth it expresses notes of fresh fruits, strawberry, blackberry and black cherry associated with slight woody notes. The tannins are a bit firm. There is a slight minerality and salinity on the finish. Good length. A beautiful wine!
