The nose is fruity and it offers power, a certain concentration, the generosity of the fruit as well as a good definition. It reveals notes of boysenberry, pulpy / fairly ripe redcurrants and more slightly coffee / chicory associated with touches of pulpy / tangy blackberry, grey pepper, nutmeg as well as discreet hints of camphor, fine hints of undergrowth and an imperceptible hint of anise. On the palate it is fruity, balanced, elegant, discreetly tight and offers juiciness, suavity, gourmandize, dynamism, a certain intensity / concentration, a little freshness, substance as well as a nice expression of the graves terroir. This wine expresses notes of juicy / fresh blackberry, pulpy currants and more slightly of tangy / juicy plum associated with touches of small red fruits as well as hints of tonka bean, with fine hints of mushroom, chocolate and roasted almond. Tannins are fine, a little powdery and very discreetly tight. Presence of toasted almond on the finish length / persistence.
