The nose is mineral, racy and offers a fine grain, depth, intensity as well as a fine austerity (needs to open up a little on the glass). There are notes of ripe / fresh cassis, violet and more slightly ripe / fresh wild raspberry associated with touches of racy gravels, gun flint, fine hints of pink pepper, rose, spices coffee and dried tobacco. The palate is fruity, racy, balanced and offers suavity freshness, good definition, juiciness, a certain gourmandize, minerality, finesse, dynamism, a stretched side as well as a discreet tight. This wine expresses notes of fresh / juicy raspberry, pulpy / juicy cherry and more slightly tangy / fresh cassis associated with touches of fresh / ripe red small fruits, with fine hints of tonka bean, graves, fresh lilac with a subtle hint of cocoa, dried tobacco, coffee and camphor. Good length. Sapidity and a nice finish / persistence. The wine should be decanted. A wine with character.
