The nose is aromatic, fruity and offers power as well as generosity. It reveals notes of wild strawberries, pulpy redcurrants and more slightly juicy cassis associated with a touch of fairly ripe / juicy little purple plum, hints of violet, racy gravel as well as discreet hints of star anise, tobacco, with a subtle hint of nutmeg, a discreet hint of toasted hazelnut and salinity. The palate is fruity and offers suavity, juiciness, a tangy frame, minerality, gourmandize, harmony, a melodious side as well as power while excellence and elegance / distinction. This wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, fleshy / tangy raspberry and more slightly sour cherry associated with touches of pulpy strawberry, fairly ripe small blue fruits, hints of truffle, undergrowth, nutmeg as well as a very discreet animal hint and a subtle tonka bean hint. Tannins are precise, fine and racy. A very good persistence.
