The nose is fruity, a little tight and offers power, a fine straightness as well as a little floral side. It reveals notes of tangy blackberry, fleshy / tangy strawberry and violet associated with juicy / pulpy plum, lilac as well as a discreet hint almost bergamot / star anise. On the palate it is mineral, fruity, racy and offers a nice definition, elegance, a fine tangy frame, roundness as well as a little flattering side. This wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, pulpy / juicy raspberry and more slightly fleshy / tangy strawberry associated with fine touches of cornflower, lily, tonka bean as well as discreet hints of undergrowth, star anise and a very discreet hint of truffle in the background. Tannins are precise, mellow. Good length. Presence of a hint of salinity and discreet hints of undergrowth / toasted oak on the finish / persistence.
