A lovely aromatic and elegant nose, precise, mellow, fresh, beautifully flowery, with a certain breadth, a lovely intensity in finesse and depth and a touch of graphite. It expresses notes of blackberry, blueberry and more lightly – small ripe red fruits associated with touches of sweet spices, infusion, and an almost juicy roasted bigarreau cherry hint as well as discreet hints of camphor, smoke and a subtle hint of nutmeg, graphite and a fine textured side. The palate is beautifully conducted, fresh, balanced, silky and offers an acidulous frame, freshness, tension and minerality. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, violet and more lightly – small dense/fresh wild red berries, associated with touches of cornflower, violet as well as hints of nutmeg, toast, salinity cardamom, small pulpy blue fruits, vanilla and toasted almond. The tannins are tasty, soft and fresh. Iodized hints on the finish/tasty persistence. Freshness and elegance while stretched/slender.
