The nose is fruity, aromatic, elegant and offers finesse of the grain as well as harmony. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed strawberry, small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with touches of cassis, small pulpy black berries, violet as well as fine hints of sap/hot pine needle, nutmeg, camphor, sweet spices and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a fine concentration, suavity and a certain tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, violet, small notes of small juicy berries, cornflower associated with touches of raspberry, pulpy/juicy redcurrant as well as hints of graphite, liquorice, nutmeg, very fine hints of toasted and an imperceptible hint of grilled (in the background). Good length. Tannins are well-built and very discreetly firm.
