The nose is gourmand, aromatic, well-built and relatively incisive. It reveals notes of crushed blackberries, crushed Garrigette strawberry and touches of liquorice associated with a hint of undergrowth as well as slight notes of cassis and oak. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, well-balanced and offers a nice acid frame, a small freshness, a good definition, fat, suavity as well as a silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crushed strawberry, cassis jam and raspberry combined with slight notes of licorice and discreet notes of sweet spices / vanilla. Tannins are fine, elegant and supple. Good length. Good potential!
