The nose offers power as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, rose petal, small notes of tonka bean associated with small touches of blackberry, strawberry, hints of toasted as well as a very discreet hint of coffee bean and toasted. The palate is fruity, mineral well-balanced, elegant, racy and offers a good definition, gourmandize, a very fine unctuosity, suavity as well as a fine power/concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild blackberry, crushed cassis, small notes of grey pepper associated with small touches of nutmeg small pulpy/juicy blue fruits, cornflower/lily, chocolate as well as fine hints of sugared mild tobacco and a very discreet hint of crushed hazelnut. Tannins are elegant and beautifully built. Good length. There is a very fine bitter hint/almost orange/dark chocolate on the finish.
