On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild blackberry, juicy wild cassis, small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of cocoa, violet, juicy/fresh plum as well as hints of racy minerality, grey pepper, cocoa/mocha, fine hints of toasted almond, discreet hints of caramelization and coffee. A slightly tight finish.
