The nose is fruity, powerful and offers a fine grain and intensity. It reveals notes of small wild berries, grey pepper, small notes of cassis associated with fine touches of crushed strawberry, griotte as well as touches of violet plum, nutmeg, caramelization and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, freshness, a good definition and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy cassis, juicy griotte, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of small red berries as well as hints of violet, liquorice/zan, toasted and discreet hints of tonka bean. Tannins are fine and elegant.
