On the nose, fruity and offers fine concentration, fine texture, boldness and a little bit of restraint in its power. It reveals notes of pulpy wild cassis, bright black berries and hints of fresh/pulpy plum combined with small touches of cherry, strawberry, blueberry and fine points of nutmeg with a discreet hint of pepper. On the palate, fruity, balanced, precise/narrow and offers juiciness, suavity, a certain depth/concentration (but with finesse), a certain delicacy, roundness, a light unctuosity, freshness, tension and energy. The wine expresses juicy/pulpy cassis, boysenberry and hints of pulpy raspberry notes combined with hints of black plum, blueberry, cardamom and fine points of black tea, camphor and toasted/sweet spice. The tannins are precise and finely firm. Good length. Very discreet toasted hazelnut notes on the finish. Nice work on the bitters on the finish.
