The nose is a little tight and offers a fine intensity. The wine needs to be decanted. Spice, pepper and slightly toasted notes are combined with hints of fleshy strawberry, blackberry and a subtle mocha and toastiness. The palate offers minerality, freshness and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, fresh/pulpy raspberry and more slightly violet combined with touches of racy minerality, lily as well as fine, almost saline notes and a discreet hint of vanilla. Good length.
