Lovely bright, gourmand, aromatic and intense nose. It reveals notes of black cherry, violet and small notes of roasted-juicy red berries associated with touches of blueberry, hints of Bourbon vanilla and a very discreet hint of sense of place (local biotope) in the background. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and offers power in accuracy, a tangy frame, tension, gourmandise as well as a spherical and pulpy side of the material. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry / morello cherry, roasted blue plum and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of toast, chocolate, bright / shiny raspberry as well as fine hints of nutmeg. The tannins are sapid and mellow. A discreet almost Mediterranean side in the fruit, in the quality of its maturity. Beautiful sapidity and length.
