Château Le Tros – Sélection 2021 – Bordeaux

The nose is fresh and racy. There are notes of gunflint, ripe/fresh citrus and, more slightly, pulpy apple, combined with a discreet touch of fresh pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral and reveals some volume, energy and freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh apple, lychee and, more slightly, fresh tangerine, combined with touches of fresh zest, a subtle hint of tangerine, fine flinty notes and a discreet hint of fresh toast. Good length. A discreet hint of vanilla on the finish/persistence.
