Château Le Tros – Cuvée Spéciale 2022 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity, frank and offers a certain intensity/power. It reveals notes of small juicy/pulpy wild red berries, fresh cherry and small notes of violet associated with touches of bright blackcurrant, a hint of lily as well as a discreet hint of licorice stick and pepper. The palate is mineral, balanced and offers suavity, accuracy, tension in finesse, mastery as well as a little straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/tart blackberry, small crunchy red berries and small notes of juicy/pulp cherry associated with touches of violet, licorice/star anise as well as a hint of sweet blond tobacco and a fine hint of clove. The tannins are distinguished, precise and offer a certain straightness in finesse. Nice persistence and sapidity.
