The nose is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of boysenberry, black cherry and small notes of cassis associated with small touches of crushed strawberry, chocolate, licorice as well as a fine hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of rosewood. The palate is fruity, finely concentrated, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a beautiful juiciness, gourmandise, suavity, fat, minerality as well as a small acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and black berries associated with touches of chocolate, liquorice as well as slight hints of toasted oak, cocoa and an imperceptible hint of violet (in the background). Tannins are elegant.
