Château Le Thil Comte Clary 2022 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is nicely fruity, mineral and offers power and a certain intensity. It expresses notes of fairly ripe blackcurrant, dry black plum and more slightly – morello cherry associated with touches of cornflower, star anise as well as hints of chocolate and licorice stick. The palate is nicely structured and fresh, elegant, ripe, and offers power, freshness, energy, nice definition and a tangy structure. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, bigarreau cherry and more slightly – dried black plum, small dense fruits associated with touches of fairly ripe wild raspberries, dark chocolate, aromatic/dry herbs and fine hints of infusion and dark chocolate. Nice minerality, density, a little darkness. The tannins are supple and fresh.
