The nose is fruity and offers lovely bitterness, a hint of torrefaction and a certain purity. It reveals notes of bright blackcurrant, crushed blackberry and slight hints of black plum associated with touches of violet, lily, slight hints of torrefaction, dark chocolate as well as discreet hints of toasted hazelnut and vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, freshness, good bitterness, notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, fresh/pulpy cherry, bright berries associated with touches of star anise, colas, of sap/almost eucalyptus, as well as fine notes of torrefaction and cornflower.
