The nose is fruity and fresh. It reveals fine notes of strawberry, cassis and ripe small fruits associated with a discreet woody hint as well as a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and tonka bean. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a slight minerality, gourmandise, roundness, a slight tension as well as a slight richness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cherry, strawberry and discreet hints of plum associated with a slight hint of cacao/licorice. Tannins are fine and slightly dusty. Good length.
