The nose offers a beautiful juiciness (morello cherry, red cherry, red currants, raspberry, crushed blueberry, blackcurrant), a pleasant spicy and woody hint (liquorice, toasted hazelnut, fresh and toasted wood, gourmet dark chocolate and morello cherry in chocolate, a hint of vanilla and tonka bean), sweet flowers (peony, lilac), a herbaceous hint (fresh mint and blackcurrant leaf which give freshness), plus a mineral touch of limestone. On the palate, the attack is fruity and tangy (red cherry, cranberries, raspberry, crushed blueberry), completed by herbaceous (mint, blackcurrant leaf) and spicy notes. The finish is long, with a salivating and sharp acidity, a chalky touch (limestone) and a delicate floral hint. A chiseled and precise wine.
