On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright cassis, small notes of bright cherry associated with touches of bright/fresh raspberry, cherry flower as well as fine hints of violet, racy minerality, a discreet hint of aromatic herbs, chocolate and a subtle hint of tonka bean. Good length. The tannins are precis and mellow.
