The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is finely spicy, fruity, with a pleasant minty touch which brings freshness. It expresses notes of morello cherry, roasted red cherry, crushed blackcurrant, black plum, blackberry, as well as dried raspberry, associated with spicy aromas of liquorice, vanilla, gray pepper, clove, as well as just a touch of dried mint and mint chocolate. We also find a delicate floral touch of lilac and cornflower in the background. The palate is airy, juicy, with fruit and lightness on the attack. The middle and end of the palate express a present and well-built tannin structure (the tannins have a fine grain), as well as a herbaceous hint. We find in particular the flavors of morello cherry, dried red cherry, raspberry coulis, black plum (with a touch of prunes in chocolate), red plum and a hint of strawberry, associated with notes of cocoa, cherry and chocolate, coffee (with a pleasant bitterness), dried aromatic herbs, lilac and sweet spices (liquorice, white pepper, cloves, cardamom). The finish is long, sapid, powdery and chocolatey, with salivating acidity and good bitterness.
