Château Le Prieuré 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers luster (fruit). It reveals notes of crushed raspberry, ripe / crushed redcurrants and more slightly bright blackcurrant associated with touches of licorice / zan stick as well as a discreet hint of cardamom, nutmeg and a subtle hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a juicy / fresh frame, gourmandize, volume, roundness as well as a good shine of the fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of bright blackberry, bright raspberry and more slightly redcurrants associated with touches of bright plum, hints of chocolate, cardamom as well as a subtle hint of almond, nutmeg and toasted hazelnut. A little powdery side, sapidity as well as a certain gourmandize on the finish / persistence.
