The nose is fruity, structured and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, wild strawberry and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with discreet hints of spices, varietals and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition as well as a fine juicy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, cassis and more slightly juicy red berries associated with small touches of crunchy raspberry, violet/lily as well as discreet hints of liquorice, racy minerality and an imperceptible hint of tonka bean (in the background). Tannins are well-built. There is an imperceptible hint of roasted on the aftertaste. A beautiful fruity, juicy and “easy drinking” wine.
