The nose is fruity and fleshy. It reveals notes of fleshy blueberry, fleshy raspberry and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with fine touches of liquorice and an imperceptible toasted hint. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers tension, good finesse of the grain, a beautiful flesh, gourmandise, a beautiful intensity as well as a juicy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy black cherry, fleshy / juicy blackberry and small notes of fleshy / juicy raspberry associated with fine touches of blueberry, chocolate, toasted, caramelized oak as well as a very slight hint of cardamom, peony (in the background) and discreet hints of hazelnut. Tannins are elegant and well-built. There are a very slight chews as well as a very discreet hint of coffee and bitterness (bitter cocoa) on the finish.
