The nose is fruity and offers freshness and delicate power and concentration. There are notes of bright blackcurrant, pulpy blueberry and some concentrated strawberry, with hints of crushed redcurrant, as well as fine peppercorns, discreet hints of nutmeg, vanilla and a very discreet hint of fresh blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, minerality, good definition, fine gourmandize, acidity and good structure and pulpy, acidic fruit. On the palate this wine expresses bright blackberry, pulpy, acidic redcurrant, juicy cherry and slight blueberry notes combined with touches of zan, racy minerality, discrete toasty, toasted hazelnut and discrete hints of chocolate and green cardamom. The tannins are well-managed and precise. Good length.
