On the nose, fruity and offers freshness and nice definition. It reveals notes of fresh boysenberry, pulpy raspberry, small blue fruits and subtle notes of ripe/fresh blueberries associated with a touch of violet, lily, hints of cherry, wasps of licorice stick and cinnamon. On the palate, fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, an acidic frame, a delicately tight tannic structure. The wine expresses concentrated cassis, juicy boysenberry and subtle notes of purple plum associated with hints of tart redcurrant as well as of lilac, lily, with a touch of licorice, a discreet note of cinnamon and almond. The tannins offers straightness. A subtle hint of bitterness from the cocoa on the finish (giving a feeling of gourmandize/appetizing feel).
