Château Le Gay 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is elegant, intense and offers concentration, a finely tight grain as well as freshness. There are notes of rose, small fresh pulpy red berries, violet and more slightly – fresh violet plum associated with hints of fresh pepper and clove. The palate is beautifully silky, delicate, delicious and offers gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of strawberries with hints of violet, star anise, liquorice, a hint of bright cherry as well as a hint of discreet hint of lilac and sweet spices. It’s a cashmere in the mouth.
