The nose is fruity, structured and offers a small freshness as well as minerality. It reveals notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh raspberry and small notes of small red fruits, violet associated with a subtle hint of cornflower, juicy/fresh blueberry as well as hints of nutmeg, spices and a very discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize, an acidulous frame, tension as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, juicy black cherry and small notes of crunchy/acidulous red fruits (raspberry, berries) associated with small touches of chocolate, flowers as well as hints of toasted and sweet spices and very fine hints of toasted almond (in the background). Tannins are elegant. Small firmness on the finish. There is a discreet hint of grilled and roasted on the persistence. Good length and beautiful persistence.
