On the nose, elegant, precise and offers some depth with intensity and finesse. It reveals notes of wild cassis, wild berries and hints of grey pepper combined with touches of bright small red fruits, fine nuances of sweet spices and a subtle touch of tea. On the palate, fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition as well as a certain gourmandise, a fine acidic frame, a little tension, smoothness, a bit of fine richness as well as an airy side in the balances, powerful/rich yet subtle/fresh. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, creamy strawberry and subtle fleshy/pulpy cassis associated with hints of caramelization, chocolate, toast as well as hints of graphite, black tea, cardamom and vanilla. Good length. Nice chewiness on the finish/persistence.
