On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, juicy blackberry and more slightly black cherry, blueberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, sweet spices as well as a discreet hint of flowers/bulb (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of almond. Tannins are fine as well as very slightly firm and straight. There is a very discreet hint of toasted bread on the finish/persistence.
