Château Le Créateur 2020 – Margaux

On the nose, an expression of fruit (a fruit bomb!) that offers brightness, depth, an aspect of depth, density (fine and discreetly tight) with a purity of its fruit. It reveals the notes of violet, cassis, morello cherry and more lightly bright red fruit combined with a touch of bright red plum, hints of pepper, sweet spice, cardamom and discreet oak/toast and coffee. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, bright and offers a nice definition, a nice concentration (in delicacy), precision, roundness, depth, harmony as well as fat. The wine express the notes of bright cassis, cherry/sour cherry  and slightly brighter raspberry notes with hints of juicy/pulpy redcurrants, racy minerality, sweet spice, dark chocolate/mocha and fine bergamot, camphor, saffron and a subtle hint of vanilla. The tannins are precise and finely packed. Good length. Fine chew on the finish/persistence.
