The nose is fruity, powerful and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of fresh wild blackberry, fresh cassis and small notes of wild red fruits associated with fine touches of flowers as well as a hint of mentholed liquorice and a discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good definition, gourmandize, an acidulous frame, freshness,concentration as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy raspberry and small notes of juicy/fleshy strawberry associated with touches of caramelization, dark chocolate as well as subtle hints of liquorice (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
