Château Le Chemin 2022 – Pomerol

Nice elegant nose and offers power, gourmandise, richness, intensity in finesse, precision, density as well as airiness in its richness. We find notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed small fruits and slight notes of pulpy/fresh blueberry associated with touches of spices, nutmeg, fresh pepper, iodine, chocolate as well as discreet hints of sweet blond tobacco, flowers, vanilla and toast. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, minerality / a mineral framework, gourmandise, tension, accuracy, smoothness, roundness, suppleness, delicacy as well as a tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, fresh/pulpy raspberry and small notes of small, bright/fresh black fruits associated with a touch of flowers, racy minerality as well as fine sappy hints, iodine and toast. The tannins are supple and sapid.
