The nose is elegant, powerful, fine, racy and offers deepness. It reveals notes of fleshy wild blackberry, pulpy raspberry, small notes of quite ripe blue plum associated with small touches of crushed redcurrant, tobacco as well as hints of underwood, fine hints of cuben pepper, hazelnut and a subtle saline hint. The palate is beautifully delicate, elegant, precise, beautifully fresh and offers energy, power, a certain justly controlled richness, a good purity of the fruit, fullness and a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, quite ripe wild blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of bright redcurrant, quite ripe quitch plum, cardamom as well as hints of tobacco, vanilla and an imperceptible hint almost iodine. Tannins are precise, elegant and fine. Beautiful persistence on notes of chocolate, hazelnut and a discreet hint of truffle. A beautiful fresh, gourmand, precise wine and offers a pure/elegant fruit.
