The nose is elegant, fine and offers complexity, power and delicateness as well as accuracy. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, bright / pulpy small black fruits and more slightly of wild strawberry associated with touches of cornflower, nutmeg as well as fine hints of pepper and a discreet hint of salinity. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a mineral frame, smoothness, finesse, a nice delicateness of the texture, accuracy, a small stretched side as well as a small acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy Boysenberry, pulpy cassis and more slightly of raspberry associated with touches of fleshy / pulpy plum, strawberry as well as hints of chocolate, nutmeg, salinity, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of toasty / caramelization. Tannins are precise, fine and delicate. Good length. Sapidity, nice juiciness as well as a discreet “restrained” side on the finish.
