The mouth is fresh, fruity, elegant, racy and offers a good definition, a small stretched side, a certain finesse, controlled richness, a small concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, small wild bright black berries associated with touches of raspberry, ripe/fresh redcurrant as well as hints of violet, tonka bean, toasted, caramelization, a discreet hint of cardamom, cornflower and a subtle hint of pepper. The tannins are massive and mellow.
