Château Le Boscq 2020 – Saint-Estèphe, Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers elegant, a certain intensity as well as a good definition, a certain complexity and controlled richness. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, creamy strawberry, small notes of small ripe fruit associated with small touches of lily, cornflower, liquorish as well as fine hints of hazelnut, cardamom, a discreet hint of caramelization, cornflower and a discreet hint of pepper. The mouth is fresh, fruity, elegant, racy and offers a good definition, a small stretched side, a certain finesse, controlled richness, a small concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of  juicy/pulpy blackberry, small wild bright black berries associated with touches of raspberry, ripe/fresh redcurrant as well as hints of violet, tonka bean, toasted, caramelization, a discreet hint of cardamom, cornflower and a subtle hint of pepper. The tannins are massive and mellow.
