Château Le Bon Pasteur 2018 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, gourmand, elegant, racy and offers a fine unctuosity as well as freshness. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe strawberry ad small notes of violet associated with small touches of blue fruits, hints of vanilla, spices as well as a discreet hint of nutmeg and a suble hint of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers freshness, a good definition, gourmandize, an acidulous frame, finesse as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of crunchy/juicy raspberry associated with small touches of black cherry/small blue fruits, liquorice, violet as well as subtle hints of tea, cardamom and spices. Tannins are elegant.
