The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous/slightly tight frame, juiciness, gourmandize as well as freshness, a fine tension, roundness and a fine richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of crushed strawberry associated with touches of violet, chocolate, toasted, nutmeg, discreet hints of toasted as well as a subtle hint of caramelization. Tannins are well-built.
