Château Lassègue 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

Château Lassègue 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

Nice nose with delicacy and beautiful maturity. There is power on a nice intense racy from the ground. There is a little almost textured side, complex and multi-layered. We have notes of pulpy blackcurrant, pulpy purple plums and more slightly small roasted red fruits associated with touches of lily, sweet spices and a subtle warm sappy hint as well as discreet notes of infusion, mines of pencils, a very discreet note of cardamom and a sense of place. The palate is mineral, fresh, juicy, elegant, delicate, subtle with a lovely depth, all harmonious and silky. There is power in accuracy as well as mastery. A delicate and silky square of silk! It is complex in the aromatics and in the ripeness of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackberry, juicy/fresh purple plum and more lightly pulpy/bright blackcurrant associated with touches of chocolate, coffee, caramelization, toasted but also fine hints of small roasted fruits and a discreet hint of blood orange in the background. Presence of hints of nutmeg, bergamot without forgetting a discreet hint of sense of the place of a local dry soil on the finish/persistent.
