The nose is aromatic and offers power as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and more slightly red fruits, underwood associated with fine touches of tonka bean, chocolate, toasted as well as discreet hints of mushroom and Bourbon vanilla pod (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, racy and offers a beautiful mineral frame, concentration as well as power (full of finesse). On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, ripe raspberry and more slightly ripe small red berries associated with touches of griotte, underwood, chocolate, cardamom as well as discreet hints of mushroom and vanilla. Tannins are elegant and structuring. Good length.
