The nose reveals concentration, some spiciness and tightness. There are notes of pulpy wild blackberry, racy minerality and more slightly fresh violet combined with fine touches of mocha, fresh nutmeg and a discreet hint of varietal and pepper. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced and reveals freshness, tension and volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh blackberry, fresh cherry and more lightly fresh/pulpy small red berries combined with hints of racy minerality, fine hints of racy minerality as well as a discreet hint of fresh flowers and a very discreet point of grey pepper. The tannins are well conducted, supple. A very fine mellowness on the finish, a hint of chocolate.
